POSITION SUMMARY

The Online Content Assistant will play a key role in driving Estée Lauder’s online strategic pillars forward, establishing the brand website as a digital flagship that delivers a best-in-class, hyper-personalised experience aligned with consumer needs.
The core responsibility of the Online Content Assistant is to ensure that all on-site content tied to brand campaigns, product launches, online promotions and other ad-hoc updates is built accurately and published on time.
The successful applicant will be passionate about online content with previous experience in planning and executing creative yet commercial online activations.

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

  • Reporting directly to the Online Content Manager, the Online Content Assistant will support with implementing the content strategy for the Estée Lauder UK & Ireland website.
  • Close collaboration with both local and global brand stakeholders is required to ensure that consumers visiting the site interact with highly engaging, commercial content that aligns with core business objectives.
  • The Online Content Assistant will own all planned and ad-hoc brand site content publishes (or refreshes) within the CMS in accordance with trading plans, promotional activity, new product launches, key campaigns and innovation updates, ensuring that all are seamlessly executed on time.
  • As the CMS lead within the team, the successful applicant will also be responsible for ensuring that CMS work is executed in an unfailingly optimal manner, taking accessibility, SEO and site performance best practices into account.
  • It too will involve adapting content in the CMS as required in response to real-time evolving trade needs, consumer behaviour on-site, emerging trends and local news.
  • The role will equally call for close partnership with the Global Online Brand Team to localise and launch any new CMS-based functionality including but not limited to modules, site features, gift guides, games and tools.
  • It is also the responsibility of the Online Content Assistant to conduct regular cross-device site walks and to be accountable for either addressing any arising issues directly within the CMS or raising bugs with the Online Production Team to resolve.
  • Outside of CMS responsibilities, the successful applicant will support the Online Content Coordinator with adopting a personalised approach to on-site content, leveraging the capabilities of our third-party optimisation agency to surface divergent, hyper-relevant content to different segments on-site.
  • They too will support the Online Content Coordinator with implementing our brand site SEO strategy, completing daily tasks on our SEO roadmap.
  • The Online Content Assistant may also be required to assist on brand site photo shoots as well as providing administrative support in preparation for and following the event.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting competitor analysis on a monthly basis and compiling this in an easily digestible report which they will present to the immediate team.
  • Finally, the Online Content Assistant will provide administrative support as required to the wider Estée Lauder Online Team.

  • Photoshop experience
